The painting “XIX” from the “Observers” series was awarded the Second Prize in the ArtPospolita competition, organised by the Kieleckie Cultural Centre (WINDA Gallery).
ArtPospolita is an international art competition encompassing various fields of contemporary art — from painting and printmaking to sculpture, photography, textile art and video — with the aim of presenting current developments in contemporary art. In the 2026 edition, more than 1,100 works were submitted, of which the Jury selected 30 works for the final exhibition.
The award for “XIX” was presented during the opening of the final exhibition on 18 September 2026 at WINDA Gallery of Contemporary Art in Kielce.
This is an important recognition for the painting and, consequently, for the entire “Observers” series, which I have been developing since 2016.
Thank you to the organisers, and congratulations to all the awarded artists.
